Scorpion was in business as a manufacturer for over 20 years, starting in 1959. The company started working on
what we call snowmobiles in the early 60's. The earliest mass production snowmobiles seems to be for the
1964 model year. By using the year selector below, you can see the different model and engine combinations for
each year.
We have tried to be as accurate as possible with the info, but Scorpion did a lot of "off the record" type things in
the early years. If you find what you believe to be errors or omissions, please drop us an email. If we can
verify it, we will update the site.
When adding pictures, we are only taking links to pictures, as do most sites. You will need to
host the pictures elsewhere. This way we can allow you to put in as many pictures as you want without worrying about
space on the server. The images will be displayed at a resolution of 640 x 480. If you provide them in a size that is
different than that, they will be resized.

sled. Down the road we plan to let you edit this information and the only way
we can do that is if you save it with your account.
Your information won't be shared or displayed as part of the registry. You can
register any sled without signing in, but you won't be able to edit your information
later
Please be as accurate as you can with your information. It will help others down
the road get an idea for what Scorpion did.
